Tom Baxter & Stephanie O’

Stephanie O’ supports
stephanieOiiThe legend that is… Tom Baxter  tombaxter

Tom’s first two albums – “Feather & Stone” and “Skybound”  achieved broad critical and public acclaim. Tom disillusioned by the industry then took time out in India, a chance meeting with another Drawingroom darling Estas Tonne helped Tom to rediscover his passion for the guitar and love of song-writing, for which we are immensely grateful, bless you Estas.

Tom writes, plays, sings and delivers with power and clarity making an extraordinary delivery. His songs inspired by Rumi, life, love and loss have  been played  extensively across the world, not least all over Radio One and Two …used in films and TV…and at six foot something, he’s a hunk of a man…sadly girls, he’s spoken for, but you can still swoon your night way whilst he serenades you. Want to come? Mail Me

Mesmerising, mysterious and carrying a bold femininity in her style and sound – she has to be one of the sexiest girls to have played here. She oozes the most naturally endearing charm, Stephanie O is a singer-songwriter and musician from London. She performed here earlier in 2016 and broke every heart. She really is very special, very gorgeous….I’d pay the same ticket price to see either of these artists, and know I’d got a bargain.

Known as Stephanie O or by her full name Stephanie O’Brien – she was founding member of the World famous Universal signed pop-harmony band The Puppini Sisters; before leaving several years later with a drive to strike out on her own. She’s performed on the same stage alongside artists such as Michael BubleCarole King, & Cindy Lauper and toured all over the world; her eclectic influences and experiences percolate her music. Like all the greats, she cannot be pigeon-holed, she is uniquely Stephanie O! Want to come? Mail Me

Joni Joni_Fuller #1 high-energy, lovingly crafted indie folk/pop from award-winning songwriter and classically-trained multi-instrumentalist. Joni’s first solo performance was aged 12 at the Montreux Jazz Festival. Kevin’s  music is Alternative, Ethereal Folk rock…. I loved it the moment I heard him play earlier this year. I know you will too. After the success of his third album ‘Dynamite’ which critics are still calling “stunning”, “atmospheric and “hypnotic”; the list of serious names who have endorsed his sound is golden, including Janice Long and Bob Harris…Want to come? Gig 16th July – Tom Baxter & Michelle Nadia

Headlining..the legend that is… Tom Baxter  tombaxter This is so exciting. Tom ranks amongst my favourite artists and has generously stepped in to take the Headline spot on Saturday. After gathering broad critical and public acclaim for his first two albums – “Feather & Stone” and “Skybound” – Tom took time out to rediscover his passion for the guitar and love of song-writing. He writes, plays and sings with a power, clarity and extraordinary delivery. 2nd July – Speak Brother & Cheryl Hillier

I’m soooo excited…Speak Brother
speakbrotheriiii are coming to Chesham,  folk/indie mix Mumford and sons with Cold play. You will have heard their music (try this)even if you are not yet familiar with their name. Vulnerable, honest, ethereal, they’ve been compared to AthleteBen Howardand The Swell Season, and their self-titled debut EP earned them airplay across the UK and beyond.

Mentioned at the 2014 International Songwriters’ Competition There are lush vocal harmonies over their rustic instrumentation, with heartfelt lyrical storytelling, driving melodies and passionate performance, They are such a band to watch.

They’ve captured the imagination of large festival audiences, and come to us directly having appeared at a major festival in the midlands and have received  a huge amount of airplay by Radio 2 with follow up live sessions booked.

Support comes from Cheryl Hiller who is standing in for  Sylva Kay  who returns in September
