Gig Sat 5th Dec Dan Wilde and Vashti Anna

Sat  05/12/15                      Dan Wilde dan wilde uk and Vashti Anna vashti both returning artists, a measure in which they are both held; awesome.
“Absolutely Stunning” said veteran BBC Radio 2 presenter Janice Long and “A touch of class” The independent review, Glastonbury.  One of the music industries best kept secrets, Vashti Anna has a reputation for mesmerizing live audiences with her beautifully soaring, haunting style. She is a natural performer; she brings refreshingly honest and emotionally driven themes to her music. Born into Musical royalty with two award winning older brothers (Tom Baxter & Charlie Winston) having set the tone for her career, Vashti’s performing began on the piano at the age of 6 in the Suffolk hotel where she and her brothers grew up. Constantly surrounded by talented performers, Vashti honed her skills amongst a strong network of like minded talent which lead to her recording, touring and promoting her own nights with artists Ed Sheeran, Nick Mulvey, Tom Baxter, Charlie Winston, Hank Wangford, Beth Rowley, Sam Semple, Jamie Lawson to name just a few – as well as continually recording her own music…since when, she’s added motherhood to her repertoire as well…
Dan Wilde first appeared on our stage almost two years ago, and travels extensively. Dan has been performing his own brand of richly observant folk both in the UK and around the world for the past five years. And in that time, he’s developed a growing fan-base and a reputation amongst those who know as “a fantastic songwriting talent who without a doubt will deserve and demand your attention”

jasminerodgers sitting Jasmine Rodgers…what can I say…we love her, she’s played here  for many a year now….she is very special …‘her grassroots music reflected both quality composition and ease of delivery.  It was a pleasure to hear the song ‘Seamless’ from her eponymously titled 2010 solo album performed live.
