Daisy Chapman, Friday May 2nd, 7pm, £10
“Enchanting work” — Rolling Stone
“Daisy is a one-woman powerhouse of voice and piano” — BBC Introducing
“Fantastic voice, brilliant musician – a great show” – Live & Local Rural Touring
Daisy Chapman brings her acclaimed songwriting to The Drawingroom for one very special night.
A pianist, storyteller, and classically trained vocalist, Daisy has travelled the world — from solo shows in Europe to collaborations with renowned post-rock collective Crippled Black Phoenix.
Influenced by the narrative power of artists like Tori Amos and Rufus Wainwright, her music blends folk, classical, and the theatrical into something entirely her own.
Expect soaring melodies, bittersweet ballads, and moments of pure, breathtaking silence. Songs of travel, love, loss — sung by a voice that has truly lived them.
